Question about Pioneer Car Audio & Video
Hello I need help connecting my cell phone bluetooth function with my Pioneer Stereo.
I have a Pioneer In-Dash Receiver (AVIC-F7010BT/XS/UC). It has bluetooth capability. The manual says its Pin Code is ''1111''.
The phone I have is the new Verizon, Samsung Alias 2, model Schu750hav. The manual for my phone says the passkey for bluetooth connection/function is ''0000''.
After activating the bluetooh on the phone, (i.e. the two triangle images appear), I then try to pair the phone with the Stereo. When i try to pair the phone to the stereo the phone says no device detected.
Similarly, when i instruct the stereo to search for new bluetooth devices it does not find my phone when the bluetooth feature on my phone is activated...
So.... I am stumped... My logic tells me that perhaps the codes need to be changed.. So, i am wondering is there a way to change the Pin Code to ''0000'' on my Pioneer Stereo????

I had the same poroblem. I turned the phone off and then restarted it. That worked for me. Try to make a phone call and see if you can hear it on the Bluetooth.

Bluetooth Troubleshooting: Phones & Headsets
Problem #1: Headset and phone are turned on, but you don't hear anything in the headset, i.e., there is no dial tone.
Action #1: Make sure your phone is Bluetooth-capable. If it is not: A. Buy a new Bluetooth-capable phone. B. Purchase a Bluetooth adapter for your non-Bluetooth phone. The adapter will allow your phone to interact with a Bluetooth headset.
It's a Bluetooth-capable phone and Bluetooth headset, both are turned on, but you still don't hear anything.
Action #2: Make sure your phone, headset, and, if necessary, adapter are fully charged before attempting to synch the Bluetooth connection between the two devices - in many cases a blinking blue light will indicate the headset is charged.
Everything is charged, but still not working.
Action #3:Before two Bluetooth-enabled devices can communicate with each other, they need to be initially synched up to each other - also referred to as linking or pairing.
A. Find "Communications" or "Connections" on your phone's menu screen and explore within to locate "New" or "Bluetooth."
B. Push the main button on the headset until the light shines solid blue and is NOT blinking. C. Select Bluetooth on phone menu. Within Bluetooth you may need to select and highlight "Devices" or "Find Devices" (depending on where you are, there may be other Bluetooth devices available).
D. While the headset light is solid blue, open the Bluetooth link (or Find Devices) on your phone's menu screen and scroll through until you locate the headset you wish to synch up to. Your phone will automatically begin searching for Bluetooth devices within 30 feet of itself.
E. After a short period of time, your menu screen should say "connected" or "devices paired". Make sure you click or select the device name to finalize the connection. If you have successfully paired the two devices, you will hear a dial tone in the headset. Congratulations! You've joined the Bluetooth world.
Note: After a couple of minutes showing solid blue, the light on the headset will start blinking; you want to pair up the phone and headset while the light is still unblinking. This is important. If the light starts blinking before you can complete the connection, you will need to turn the headset off and on and start over.
You've followed all the instructions in this guide, and your Bluetooth connection is still not functioning properly.
Action #4: Take out your manual and carefully reread the section on synching up Bluetooth devices. If you still can't get things properly connected, we suggest you call the manufacturer regarding this issue.

hold your finger on the call button on your blutooth device for around 6-10 seconds, this should make a couple of lights flash, when it does this it is active and ready to pair uo, then search, it will ask you for a code, usually they are generic and are prob the following 1234-12345-1111-11111-0000-00000-5555-55555 eiter one of these should work
