Hi.
If the problem happens with all or most of the disks, then it is usually a lens related fault.
The spindle motor will attempt starting to read the TOC (table of content track burnt on the inner circle of the disk). You will hear a whirring and clicking noise, but the dirty or defective laser lens will not be able to focus on the tracks TOC, and will not recognise that there is a disk inside displaying Load on the LCD screen.
Follow the instructions in the article below:
My player does not read disks
If that does not work, then the internal DVD drive unit may need replacement.
Regards.
Ginko.
Hello,
how long have you been using this player? I believe the laser (lens) for your player is very weak, and that's why it cannot load or read the data on any disc whatsoever that you insert into it. The problem you are facing is a symptom of bad laser (lens).
The solution or way forward is to replace the lens to a brand new one so that is can load or read data on any disc you insert into your player.
Although you can try cleaning the lens with a lens cleaner or manually clean the lens with cotton wool and liquid, but this might not revive the lens.
So replace the laser (lens) of your player and your player will load every disc you insert into it.
Good luck.

I started to run into this issue when this DVD player was used a little after one year.
