Loose sealing tray in to drawer keeps drawer from sliding

What appears to be a tray that seals in the top drawer when washing seems to be loose. It basically prevents the drawer from sliding and likely isn't sealing the drawer when it's running.

You might be correct in your assessment. The top drawer door seal has come undone. It is a very labour intensive process to put it back. Could also mean the actuators that operate the seal are undone.

To get to the actuators and seal you will have to get the drawer out from its housing and then give it a shot. If you are confident of getting to the next step then post a comment. Otherwise a qualified technician is your best bet.

My fisher & paykel dd603 top drawer is sticking and won't close without force. After taking it all the way out, we saw the the top piece (inside the dishwasher) is loose and is obstructing and pr

The drawer lid seal is the problem. It is likely the actuator motors controlling the lid position are either faulty or need rebalancing. Happens if the dishwasher lost power in the middle of the cycle or the drawer got pulled out when running. It is a big job to fix as the lid seal and actuator yoke and arms will need to be taken out and refitted. ALos it is likely the gaskets on the lid seal could be damaged and need replacement.

Drawer wont slide and dishwasher does not work

please provide the model number of the dishwasher so that I can identify the type of lid seal it is using. Usually the lid seal actuator motors are stuck and prevent drawer from opening. You could force it open with a slight tug. Otherwise turn the mains power off and on and see if it makes any difference. Need to check the lid seals for damage otherwise it may leak in future and cause flood switch to trip.

I have an LG refrig french door model LFX 31925ST/00. Purchased less than 2 months ago. The top plastic freezer door continues to get an ice build up on the front of the drawer only. Is this normal? ...

It sounds like a loose or bad seal on the top area of the freezer door. Use the old dollar bill test to see how good the seal is. Hold a dollar bill up to the seal and close the door. there should be some resistance. compare the resistance between the top and bottom of the door.

Display F1 want do anything else

Hi,
An F-1 is a fault code that comes on when you have accumulated at least 1/8 of water in the base pan under the drawer. You have two options, first one you can unplug unit from the power source and allow the air in the room to dry it out or while unplugged you can remove the drawer by releasing the tabs on the bottom of the lowest drawer and slide out the drawer to remove the water. There are a couple of different models and you didn't leave a model number to allow me to send diagrams too.
The true fix is to determine why the base pan is collecting water, here is a couple of common issue that could create this problem, drawer too full and seal to drawer did not seal, too much soap, bad seal to lid (that covers drawer during wash) or the hoses in the back of the drawer have came loose and prevent the lid to lower and cover the drawer.
I hope this helps...
If you need more help let me know and I can give you pictures, parts lists, and step by step instruction with the model number located on the rim of the upper drawer open..

How do I adjust top drawer height? The seal around top drawer appears to be leaking and there is a lot of dried residue around the top edge of the drawer. Water appears to be leaking from the top.

Not sure if adjusting top drawer height will fix the leak. The only way to fix the drawer seal leak is to take the drawer out and check what is wrong with the seal which is located around the top edge of the cabinet from inside.

Hope this helps. Please rate this solution if helpful otherwise please post a comment

Water is pouring out of my dispenser drawer

I have read other folks say that this has happened to them when a sock or wash cloth gets stuck behind the rubber seal of the door. There is a pipe that drains the water from your detergent tray and it may be clogged with a sock. Try feeling around behind the rubber seal in proximity to the detergent tray and see if there is a piece of clothing stuck in the pipe that drains the detergent tray. Also remove the tray and check the pipe from that end too.

After my washer spends the rubber comes

Do you mean the door seal has come loose.

Disconnect the machine from the power. Open top hatch by removing two screws in the back and sliding top lid back and up to remove.

Check down from the top of the machine and feel around the door seal. Make sure there are no holes or tears in the seal. Try and refit seal. there is a metal ring around the drum and also around the front panel where the door seal joins. Make sure the are tight and fit in properly.

Let me know if I didnt understand the problem.

Good luck.

Top part of agitator is loose and wobbles and

These are called "dogs" and they are replaceable and do not cost much. Basically, they keep the agitator locked in position when the shaft moves in an oppisite direction so the agitator can step forward.

They should be fairly simple to remove with a phillips screwdriver or a 1-4 in nut driver. take them to a reputable appliance parts store and they will be able to sell you replacements.

These are made to wear out and be replaced so the agitator itself doesnt wear, which is a whole different story to replace. Left-handed shaft screw. Undo it in a clockwise direction and slide the agitator off the shaft if you find that replacing the dogs does not work.
