Question about Televison & Video
If there is no power at all, then it is either the power cord or power board inside the TV.
If after the fault the TV went in standby and does not wake up, then the TV is in protect mode.
In protect mode higher voltages from PSU gets shut down and TV remains in standby.(see also Why my TV does not start up and remains in...)
As you can read in the article, the basic troubleshooting consists in leaving the TV power cord unplugged for some times, let say one hour or so. Then connect power back with no device connected.
If that does not work, and you keep having the TV in protect mode, that means that there is a fault.
In that case call the support number listed on the TV user manual to arrange repair.
If you are a technician I can try locating parts, service manual and giving more directions. Common faults that affect a rear projection TV are convergence, PSU board, lamp and ballast assembly.
Also let me know if the light is blinking a fixed number of times, and eventually let me know TV model number. That can help to locate the fault.
