Ensure that your hose, regulator, and control assembly are all clear of debris and that the orifice is not plugged.
same thing applies to NG just different way of regulating and different orifice sizes

I just want to know if I can use Charbroil's natural gas conversion kit to convert my Weber Genesis Silver grill.

NO. Weber grills have never been approved for gas conversions. That's why they made/make Natural Gas models & Propane models. Doing so, puts all the liability in your lap, if some thing should go wrong. If you have any doubts, check your Owner's Manual under "Warnings."

Hope this helped to answer your question. Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Weber genesis silver, won't light

The grill can only have one problem by what you are describing look under the unit you will see a black rubber hose going from the regulator to the gas valve (where you turn it on) this valve when turned opens up and allows the gas to flow from the valve to the burrner bar. you will need to see if the gas in going past to the burrner if so shut off the gas remove the burner and clean it out as the ports mybe clogged thus not letting the gas come out properly but back feeding out the back side of the burrner..Let me know what you find

I need to convert my weber genesis b to nat. gas. Have the hose. bought a replacement manifold part and installed but doesnt seem to work. STEVE 269-600-8111

Steve, you also need to change the burner(s) orifices to Natural Gas orifices. Natural gas won't work with Propane orifices.

Good luck and Happy Grilling!!

Kit for converting weber genesis silver c to natural gas

Some grills do not have conversion kits, if your grill is labeled as dual fuel you can contact weber and get a kit for it.

My weber genesis platinum gas grill won't get hotter than 300 deg

Are you using natural gas or LP gas. If LP, replace the regulator filter. If clogging, you won't get the full amount of gas.
