I have a Kohler BubbleMassage K-1122-G Bathtub. I want to detach the blower motor from the tub and place it 5 ft. from the tub. Kohler seems to have the wire to lengthen the electric but has nothing to extend the air tub to the tub. What can I do?

The directions received were good but I need more specific instructions. I have not bought the tub yet therefore need more pictures or instruction besides cutting.

All comments are helpful but I still need to know how to connect motor when it is placed outside the tub area. Wiring is understood but I don't know how the air tube is connected.

Hello, if the electric is long enough you will have to find some bulk tubing from the hardware store and a coupling then you can couple the tubes together and move the bubbler where you want it.

What do you mean by bulk tubing. What is it made of. Is it rubber, plastic or what? Is it flexible, stiff or what?

  • Heath Moyer May 31, 2010

You should be able to cut the tube and use couplings from the hardware store and new tube to extend the existing tube.

One clawfoot leg on my bathtub has slipped out of it's track...twice and caused the tub to fall twice. What might be the problem?

If you look under the tub you will notice there is a bolt designed to be tightened once the tub is leveled and in the correct position (at least that is how ours is made and it is an original antique). Anyway, try tightening up on this bolt or screw once the foot is in the correct position and this should solve the problem.

My jacuzzi works fine but the air button seems faulty as turning it makes no difference. The clear tube is connected to the box on top of the motor. Any thoughts?

Lots ot time a small spider nests in the tube or switch body. If you can detach the tube at the switch and run a pipe cleaner down to clear the web, that might help. also look for cracks or holes in the tubing.

New bathtub chipped

You should ask a lawyer for advice on who should fix it, but there are kits available to patch chips like those. You apply it as a liquid and then wet sand it. They are fairly easy to apply, and inexpensive.
