Why can gas bottle changeover valves be used with caravan devices but not with free standing barbques (eg Weber)

You don't cook that long on a bbq so you don't use that much gas so its not needed change over valves are used on dwellings in a bank of two or more 100 lbs bottles so you don't have to keep swapping them over and have constant supply of gas . If you wanted to you could run a line off your caravan to your bbq and use it that way .

I have moved into a property with a kelvinator LPG

Most probably the flow switch that senses water flow and opens the gas and turns it on is stuck due to not being used.

My jaguar (lpg gas) says limited performance

hi your issue is that your car which starts with petrol then switchies over to lpg for which youll already know ,but the problem lies within the cylindar heads as it can only be 1 of 3 things =1, your valve seals are worn excessively due to the lpg as that runs at a higher heat density which stretches the valves which in turn causes then to wear and that reduces the power ie lack off,as it puts the ecu into limp mode (safe to protect your engine) as its a common fault on ALL lpg conversions.as that is also the knock on effect with your master servo (brakes).as i fix approx 3/4 a month.
hope this help's to clarify what is wrong ok

Rheem 300170 HWS service manual

1) Rheem does not post service manuals.
Call Rheem and ask why, since the other big manufacturers, AO Smith and Bradford White do post service manuals.

2) You need new propane gas control valve, and matching combustion parts to fit existing tank.
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Rheem-Water-Heater-parts-catalog.pdf
http://waterheatertimer.org/images/IMG_1826-LP-burner-450.jpg

3) Rheem does not recommend changing gas type, especially from natural gas to LPG.
LPG is higher pressure, and burns much hotter and requires cast iron burner, unlike the lighter-weight metal used for Natural gas burner.
The manifold tube and thermocouple must match the gas control valve, and gas-type and have correct thread for propane.
The combustion chamber and heat transfer surface can also be heavier metal for propane heaters.

329H portable heater Can this be converted to a gas bottle fitting will it be ok what is the use age and how many watts of power to run the electronics etc

You need to convert the unit if you are changing from Natural gas to LPG. This involves getting a full conversion kit for your model and changing burner , gas pressures and electronic settings.

Power draw on high remains at 22Watts. Input is almost identical for either natural or LPG gas as you would expect but running costs depends on how much you pay for your LPG. For example in Australia we use 45kg bottles of LPG, they retails at about A$110 delivered. One of these would last about 170 hours running a 329 on high.About 2 litres of LPG per hour

Cannon Rhapsody LPG Gas open Fire sooting up of burners

well its my experience that ranges don't come lpg they are all made natural gas but you convert them to lpg after purchase now if the lpg conversion isn't done properly then they soot like crazy proper lpg converson is to change the spuds on the burners and to turn the orifice over in the pressure regulator do you still have your owners manuel if so consult it on converting gas range to lp then check to see if every thing was done right on the pressure regulater there is a square cap you take it off and there is a round part that on one side says lp on the other says ng this changes the pressure that the regulator as ng and lp operates at different pressures and the regulator has to be set for what you using like i said im not familiar with your brand or model but i do know the problem if the range did come ng then you need to make sure the conversion most ranges aren't lp because there is not that big a market for it read the plate on the back will tell you if it was made ng or lp serial plate on front may say also most of the time it is beside the bottom drawer on the range
