Question about Dell Inspiron 5150 Notebook
20 keys on my dell laptop just stopped working. I cleaned under the keyboard and tried cleaning under a few of the keys themselves. Nothing is working. Should I replace the keyboard?
yes it is probably dead for some reason ..the probabil cause it is a contact for a area..and this is a used but a good price one ...that works ..
here are another if that one seams not on your taste ...among them are even new ones..
to actually change it ..you have to remove the front part that covers the hinges and holds the buttons ..(see that it have spots to insert something on the F1 and f11 keys ) than remove the keyboard itself by pushing it a little toward the lcd..and up..it is snapped in place and slides in a little...Than it has just a ribbon that removes by pulling the safety plastic ends a few mm out ...
