Go to menu then setup Look for convergence if it is not listed on the menu then you have an open fuse FL231 Located on the deflection board on the right hand side of the FBT flyback transfomer theu will be 3 in a roll small brown looking caps it will be the one in the middle .Partstore.com has them

Images on screen has a shadow and 3 lines to the top of the screen

what is the m# by the flyback thear 3 fuse
that look like caps hit them bad solder.
and will you got it a part check for bad cap's
in hoz/def it by the hear sink you see if bad .

Scan and copy lines

using PRT screen and menu find clen function and try if this feature will fix the issuw.

Do we need a new TV?

I dont think this problem can be fixed without solder work or part replacement of convergence section. Its no just matter of fuse. You should get repair facility from concern service center because TV has dangrous voltages inside and qualified person knows how to deal with TV.
