Question about Saeco VIA Venezia
This happens to me when i get air in the line that pulls the water out of the tank (i.e. you forgot to fill it up every now and then). you fill up the tank, wash you hands really well (don't want soap or germ in tank), partially put tank into machine and submerge the tube. then with your index finger flick the screen covered tip until no more air comes out. then, push the tank all the way back with the tube submerging all the way to the bottom. turn machine, push steamer butten, and turn knob to turn on steam for a few minutes to remove any remaining air in the tube. then, turn off machine, unpush the steamer (takes too long if machine on and unpush it for the espresso icon to light up so i just shut it off to reset it), turn on machine, wait for espresso icon to turn on, and then press button. voila. problem solved. i find the finger flicking step key b/c takes forever to purge a line full of air just using the steamer step.
