LIne up the pins of the lid with the holes in the printer which you were not supposed to remove. press firmly and it should snap into place.

Were do I purchase a new opticle drive door and linkage for this desk top. This pc has two 5.25 bays , the top one has a door that opens and closes as you insert a disk. And the second bay came with a...

What type of assembly do you have for your 2nd Optical. Is it so close together with the top one it won't open? Replacing a door and linkage is very tricky. What would happen if you put the new one on top and the other below it. Should that not work, you may have damaged your new drive. It sucks and I've done it before. Some of those 5.25's are really tight. Let me know if your 2nd drive still works.

Error message! I just got a Kodak 5210 printer and it keeps saying "printhead carriage jam. open printer access door. clear any obstruction. check installation of printhead and ink cartilages. close...

To resolve the error condition:

1. Disconnect the power adapter from the printer.

2. Wait 30 seconds to allow the printer to reset.

3. Connect the power adapter to the printer. Turn the printer on if necessary.

4. Wait until the printer is ready to use.

If the error condition continues:

1. Open the printer access door.

2. Remove and install the print head two times. - See http://faqs.kodak.com/atg/faq/attachments/AUR1780-2.pdf

3. Close the printer access door.

4. Wait until the printer is ready to use.

5. If the error is still displayed, contact Kodak

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

How to install a hp officejet wireless printhead

You can solve this problem yourself by just following the below steps
1.Turn on the HP printer and flip open the top cover.

2.Hold the "Resume" button until the carriage assembly moves to the left side of the printer.

3.Flip up the print head latch on the carriage.

4.Use the handle to pull the print head up and out of its cavity.

5.Shake the new print head five or six times before removing its packaging.

6.Take the protective caps off the new print head. Do not shake the print head after removing the caps.

7.Press the print head firmly into the printer using the color-coded slots as a guide.

8.Close the print head latch and press down firmly.

9.Close the printer's top cover. The printer will automatically align the new print head and print an alignment page.

Thanks.
Have a great day.

Paper jam and i remove jam paper but printer saids error and my conputer tell me cover not close. I have shut off printer also conputer there seems like i try every thing been 2 hrs trying

Check for a small piece of paper left somewhere within the paper path. Make sure you close the cover carefully and that it is secure and closed the same way before you opened it. Make sure it is not twisted or binding anywhere.

I just bought a docking station for my Dell laptop computer. How do I hook it up so I can keep the top closed and use my desk top monitor? I want to be able to turn on the laptop without opening the lid.

Well.. you'd still have to open the lid to turn it on, right? (because you didn't mention the model of your laptop, I don't know where the power button actually *is*)
You want to close it while it's on, without it hibernating or going to sleep...

Go to your control panel, then into power or power management (depending on your Windows version, because you didn't mention it)

Then have a look under the "advanced" tab where it asks "when I close the lid of my computer". Set that to "do nothing".

Now when you close the lid, the laptop screen should turn off, but the PC should keep running. I'm not sure if that will still turn your external monitor off though.

I think that is your best solution, other than hacking off the little button that senses when the lid is closed. =-]
