I have an Oster Model 254-01 Series A Hair clipper. It runsd fine but I know I should be oiling it occasionally. I can't figure where to oil it either.

Oster titan blades. I have had mine for 5 years.
Oil one is a little ball on the side of clippers push in with oil tip. Make sure your clippers are running for this. You also have to grease them once in awhile with clipper grease. You should have a front panel that has screws. open and grease put case back on. for cord you can try an oscar fix place or try and see if the company will replace if you have not had them long. hope this helps.

There is a little silver cirle on the main clipper down where you put the blade on and you put the oil bottle up to it and push in and put a few drops of oil in there, you will see it give a little and oil your blades too...you can push on it with your fingernail and see where it goes hope this helps...

My Titan clippers were shorting out with the cord but now they are inoperable. I believe it is the cord. How do I replace this?

Oster fast feeds snagging clients. how do I remedy the problem?

Hello, Albert -

Clarification: You are asking about an Oster brand Fast-Feed hair clipper. Apparently when you use it on hair cutting clients, the clipper "clips" their skin.

If I am correct in my guess, then . . .

I have found some reviews of the hair clippers which mention the clipper guard combs, which come with the clippers , which may cause problems.

These are links to 2 reviews:
https://www.myhairclippers.com/oster-fast-feed-adjustable-pivot-motor-clipper-review/
and
https://choicebarber.com/oster-fast-feed-review-2017/

The second review includes a recommendation to purchase other clipper guards to use instead of those which come with the hair clipper.

Some of the "clipping" problems may be user error (you), too. You may wish to find and watch some instructive videos. To find such videos, use your favorite search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo Search, etc.) and the following search phrase, using quotation marks as shown:

Best wishes.

Classic oster outlaw clipper manual how do u clean grease the gears and oil the blades? how do I properly maintenance my clippers because they are getting real hot way to fast.

normal for clippers if the hair is long or thick
oiling is done with the clipper running
Change over from steel clipper blades to ceramic blades as they run cooler and stay sharper for longer
just place a small drop on the blades and let it work down
AS for others
make sure that the filter in the handle is clear of hair and the same for the vent under the hand
Other than that you can take out the 4 screws and put a small amout of oster grease around the wheel and drive pinion as it can get out and run dry
go to the manufacturing web page and download the pdf version manual

I was shaving my dog using oster ultra cordless clipper, and suddenly the clipper is not cutting hair instead it grabs hair. I opened it and clean out hair under blade, but unfortunately, i did not help.

With most clippers, after an amount of use they need to be cleaned then oiled. Most sets come with some amount of oil for your clippers. Otherwise you can purchase it separately. This should fix the problem.

If the clippers are less than a year old send them back too your supplier, if not you can send them to our servicing department or alternatively fit a replacement switch.
