Question about Acer Aspire 2930-4661 Notebook
I was having trouble with:
1 Keyboard not working
2 Could not shut down
Removed rechargeable battery(MS2169?) and PC (Aspire3003WLMi) seems to be working fine.
Put battery back in and problems mentioned above are back.
Yes, sometimes a faulty battery can cause this issue on some Acer Laptops - have seen it many times. Please replace battery OR test on A/C to make sure. If you get another battery, please test first if problem remains before buying it of cause.
