Question about Skull Candy Pipe Speaker Dock for iPod and iPhone

1 Answer

The remote for my skullcandy Pipe speaker for my ipod is no longer working. It worked fine, and now (this is for my ipod nano) will only respond to volume menu or select control from the remote. Have I done something to the ipod settings to disable these functions on the remote? I sent the whole thing in to skullcandy, bought a new one, and the new one has the same problem. Please help!

Yes there is a problem that has developed with the remote sensor placed on the frnot of the speaker. You need to ger the sensor replaced by taking it to a Apple service center. Its not costly.

Thank You

Are you talking about a "remote sensor" on the ipod nano itself or the sensor on the skullcandy pipe speaker? I assumed you were talking about the sensor on the speaker, but I'm wondering if that would be replaceable by an Apple store since it is not an Apple product??? Also, why would the volume function work via remote, but none of the other options (i.e. menu, select, etc.) if the sensor was bad?

No sound from my Pure-Fi Express plus into my 4th gen Nan Ipod

Hi, while your pure express plus you just purchased is not playing out any sound is because, the speaker that enable you to play the sound when you play music through the ipod is faulty and it needs to be replaced with another one for it to function properly again.

After changing the speaker that is faulty with a new speaker, you can now start enjoying the music again through the internal speaker.

Take care.
