I have the same problem with not much help from the store where i brought my TV from, they sell their items but as to good old after sales service it is non exsistant unless you are buying. They suggested it was the co-axial cable and also said the most likely factor is if you have a VCR connected then each time you want to watch TV take the aerial out of the VCR and put it directly into the TV, good one if you want to record on the VCR, this doesnt help the problem. Same you, I am still stuck with reception problems. By the way I have a 42' digital in the Loungeroom with VCR, DVD, Surround Sound all hooked up (& to same aerial on roof) with no reception problems, the one I am having trouble with is small digital TV in bedroom (room is next to loungeroom). I am on the Gold Coast in good reception area. Wonder if anyone has found a solution yet.
The antennas in the Macbook Pros have had an issue with reception due to the aluminum housing of the laptop but, should still receive decent reception just not as much as a plastic Macbook or plastic PC laptop. It could be possible that the antenna's cables have become disconnected from the Airport Extreme card inside your Macbook Pro, that the card itself is faulty or damaged or that the Antennas themselves have been damaged in some way. As always make sure you have the latest updates and have installed any driver updates from Apple regarding your Airport Extreme card. Here's an article that may help eliminate any wireless interference that may be affecting your signal strength. Apple - Wireless Interference hope this helps, if so don't forget to comment, vote, etc. Thank you.
Check if your system has a wifi switch and if it's turned on. Press Fn+F3 to enable your wireless inside windows. If you have windows xp, try this...click start, run and type services.msc and press ok. double click wireless Zero configuration from the services window and set it to automatic then click apply then click then start the service. If all else failed, you have to replace your wireless card.
"Contact Service" usually appears on Nokia phones once the phone cannot get reception from your wireless provider.
There are some possible causes of the problem:
1. Defective SIM card - that's why it could not get reception. 2. The Message Center - could be incorrect. The message center should be provider by your wireless provider as well. 3. Last is if there's a problem with the account or with the server.
Contact your wireless provider to verify this issue. They can resolve this problem.
yeppers..those are simply receivers, and sometimes, after a period of time, and vibration, and shock, they just lose some of their ability to tune into a signal. I've seen it in net cafes and inside wireless nodes too.
