Your Motherboard supports
DDR SDRAM RAM only and you can install upto 4GB RAM in the Computer.
You can not use a DDR2 or DDR3 RAM in your motherboard.

If your over clocking your CPU settings reset to default. See if you still get the error. If you still get the error than update your bios. There are a couple of way to do this. You can use the software on your Asus CD or you can down load the latest BIOS-Utilities, Afudos BIOS update tool V2.36. Than download the bios file, P5PE-VM BIOS 1501.
Using built-in EZ Flash to flash BIOS Please be informed that not all motherboards support EZ Flash,
