The E20 fault code means there is a blockage in the drainage system of the machine.

Check the drain hose, the laundry sink tub and also the pump filter at the bottom right hand side of the washing machine on the front of the cabinet. Pry the door open, undo the filter bung and clean out the pump housing ok,

One of these is blocked and it is restricting the flow of water when the machine should be fully drained before spinning.

Blocked Pump

One of the primary reasons why there may be an "E20" error code on a Frigidaire front-loading washing machine is if there is something blocking the pump. Disconnect the washing machine from the power and release the clips on each side to remove the front access panel. Set a container under the pump drain, which is located on the lower right side of the washing machine. Open the pump drain plug and allow it to drain. E20 means the drain hose is plugged or kinked or the household drains are plugged. YOur washer will not drain and spin until this is fixed.

turn off the washer/unplug it/remove the drain hose and check for a clog. If it is there, clean it out. If not - check your sinks and toilets for slow running drains. The garbage disposal is a good place to start as well. plug the sink, fill it with hot water, then pull the plug and start the disposal. That will help clean the disposal and also show you if you have a drainage problem there. Plunge the toilets, etc.

Plug off the mains. First drain out all your water by lowering the exit hose into a bucket or drain. You have to look for screws below the front kick-panel, the panel comes down & out. The pump is on the right side. Be prepared for dirty water. Inside the big flexible tube (coming from the tub bottom) is the filter, be prepared to find all sorts of junk here, clean out. Examine your pump also, clean out the impeller. Carefully refit all. Your machine would be fine. Don’t wait for the machine to jam to look into your filter.
