1 You will need 1st to check if you have the volume control in Windows enabled .
2. check the icon with the "speaker" in the task bar to the bottom right of your screen if you have it at the default.
click (left mouse button).
3. check to see what position you have it at. This may be the issue. I have rebooted my PC sometimes and the volume default to low volume or no volume.

Hi, I'm not going to go into a guessing game of why I believe the "Audio" isn't working; I just going to give you a quick and direct solution to the problem. Click on this site, and see if you can get your drivers "Updated." Next thing you can do is go to the [Start Menu], click on "Windows / Microsoft Updates" and have the necessary (Updates installed).
