The problem is with the dryer. Check from the plug all the way to the back of the unit, remove the back panel and look for burn marks. Also make sure that you check the control board as that will keep the unit from being able to work also. You are going to need to check everything thoroughly with your eyes to make sure that everything is working and nothing has burn marks or been knocked out of its place. First thing is that you will need to replace the 220 cord.

The cord at the plug in is burnt but didn't trip the braker and the dryer is not working

Sounds like a loose connection in the plug causing arcing (sparking) cut back the lead and re connect to plug, if not confident ask someone preferably someone electrically minded. Good luck.

My 2002 Ford Explorer wont crank!

I'm assuming the coilpack got wet!! Check if there is any power to the coil before changing. If thats fine, replace the coil. If there is no power, check your electrical circuit for the coil. Hopefully this helps

How do i connect my whirlpool

Connect dryer vent in rear of machine as per instructions. Make sure no kinks are present in exhaust hose as you move dryer into position. Insure proper outside vent is correct for your unit. Plug into 220 volt electrical outlet.

Whirlpool electric dryer

either you are pushing the dryer back to far and crushing the exhaust vent hose .your exhaust vent going outside is stopped up , or your low temp thermo will not let the dryer cycle and it is over heating.
