Question about Husqvarna Chain Saw 20" Bar

Will not start

Put in new spark plug. Cleaned air filter. Checked fuel filter for breathing. Changed fuel. All of those things are okay but it will not start? I also have bar and chain oil leaking near the chain adjustment area?

You may want to remove the air filter and spray a little carb cleaner into the carb and then try it. Don't store your saws for more than a week or two with fuel in them, it can really gum up the ports in the carb as it evaporates.

Hi I did a tune up ,changed and checked every thing I done ..too I changed the oil ,oil filter ,gas filter air filter ,got a new battery changed the plugs there new too...even a new belt new key ...but...

Spark and gas??? Must have both. Pull spark plug wire and check for spark. If you have spark, check gap on spark plug. Check the bowl on carburetor. loosen bowl screw to see if gas is coming out. If you have gas coming out, carb needs to be taken off and cleaned or rebuilt.

Well is the check engine light on or have you tested for codes yet? and it sounds like it could be a sensor issue, and if you didnt replace the distributor and cap and rotor that could be an issue also

Motor runs for 5-10 min. then starts missing and quits.

Check your spark first,if you do not have spark your problem is the coils-if you do have spark the problem probaly lies withone of your valves getting stuck after getting hot and soonas it cools down a little it closes and then you can restart it till it gets hot again.Hope this helps

Lawn mower does not start up

Lots of thing can stop a victa working!!!!!!!!!. Ok your plug is wet. Turn the fuel off. R&R tank renew fuel(no more than a month old it goes stale)Check for spark, be very careful it could catch a light.
Get the new plug open the gap to about 5mm.earth the hex of the plug to the head, away from the plug hole ,the fuel will come out.
If it jumps gap when pulled it has enough spark to fire under load.If lots of fuel comes out its flooded.if so leave plug out remove a/f ,leave tap off, put throttle to full and pull till most fuel is gone.Refit plug and try. let me know how that goes. do this in well vented area. Fumes can build up in shed.

My lawn mower doesn't start

Hi Every 2 stoke engine needs three things to run:Fuel+oil/air mixture in correct proportions, compression and ignition.Remove the sparkplug and see if the spark appears when the piston in the cilinder is at top death point(almoust),if not check the flyweel key(not to be sheared).Check engine"s sealing(crankcase gasket, cilinder gasket,seals-crankshaft,carb gasket). Also the mufller(not to be clogged),disassembly the carb (check and clean it),fuel lines and fuel filter (check and clean them),gas cap tank vent(not to be clogged),the air filter. Please let me know. best regards savumihai71
