Your local home improvement store will have a caster that you should be able to glue onto the bottom part..

Front Wheel Allignment

On these LH body cars, camber is not adjustable. Neither is caster. Those angles are preset by the suspension geometry. However, specifications for them ARE published. Generally, if either of those two parameters are out of spec, then it's likely something is worn or damaged and needs to be replaced.

The only adjustable parameters are to the front and rear toe but specified as "Total Toe" - see note below.
The alignment specs are as follows ...

ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS AT VEHICLE CURB HEIGHT
A. FRONT WHEELS
  1. CAMBER
    Acceptable -0.6° to +0.6°
    Preferred +0.0°
    Side to Side Differential
    Acceptable 0.7° or less
    Preferred 0.0°
  2. TOTAL TOE - Specified in degrees. See Note Below
Acceptable 0.4° in -to- 0.0° out
    Preferred 0.2° in
  3. CASTER* (reference angle)
    Acceptable +2.0° -to- +4.0°
    Preferred +3.0°
*Side to Side Caster Difference not to exceed
    Acceptable 1.0° or less
    Preferred 0.0°
B. REAR WHEELS
  1. CAMBER
    Acceptable -0.6° -to- +0.4°
    Preferred +0.1°
  2. TOTAL TOE** - Specified in degrees. See Note Below.
Acceptable 0.2° out -to- 0.4° in
    Preferred -0.1° in
**TOE OUT when backed onto alignment rack is TOE IN when driving.
  3. THRUST ANGLE
    Acceptable -0.15° -to- +0.15°
Note: "Total Toe" is the arithmetic sum of the left and right Toe settings. Positive is Toe-in. Negative is Toe-out. Total Toe must be equally split between left and right wheels. Left and Right Toe must be equal to within 0.02° (2 one hundredths of a degree).

Caster broken

Some caster wheels are a press fit on an axle. That's why they frequently fall off.

I was told there is no adjustment for caster but they can correct front camber with camber bolts and it is 50/50 that may help caster . they want 350.00 to do the camber bolt but I'm risking the 50/50 what...

Camber adjust bolts mounted from steering knuckle to strut will NOT change caster. 0.3' degree difference in caster is acceptable, up to 0.5'degrees higher on right is preferable for road crown correction. 0.5'degrees higher on left may show a noticeable drift to right while driving.

Front Wheels Broken- Better wheels than plastic?

There haven't been metal spoked wheels on the market for a long time now, however the right ones for a HD wheelchair should be strong enough. I would expect the tire size to be 8x1 3/4" but you can also get 8x2", and some of these have a solid hub (solid center, no spokes). Check with your local wheelchair repair shop or where you bought it from to get the wide front casters.

Front end shakes when it hit a bump

Yep tie rod ends both control arms and a frame bushings. If you had time and could send some pictures I could be more presise and could give you a detaild ideal on how to test the entire front end, but you do not seem to want a lot of help as this would require me to give you two hours of instruction and testing parts that you are not aware of..

I have a 2002 daewoo nubira cdx

Well without seeing it I don't know whats bent or not but your caster angle causes a pull since it is pulling right you need to add more caster to the right side or make the left side caster less.If it is the tires rotate left front to the right front and the right front to the left if it goes straight or pulls left its in the tires if it still goes right its in the alignment.

Had two recent occasions when the front end of my 1999 Jeep starting shaking when I hit a rought surface of the higway. Very frightening. I was told that I would probably need a front steering damper...

Ok, I figured out what was wrong with my 2005 Wrangler. By installing the coil spring spacers, I reduced the actual Caster angle of my front end. When I hit certain bumps at certain speeds, the front wheels would wobble back and forth violently as if i was pushing a bad shopping cart really fast. Anyhow, the dealer has replacement eccentric bolts to adjust the caster, but they didn’t stock them and they cost over $50.00. So, I opted to make my own off set washers to push the lower portion of the axle forward (gaining positive Caster). If you think this may help you, feel free to contact me at bb62471@yahoo.com .

Broken Caster

OK Master Draco,

Here is the scoop! The casters on your shredder are 30mm dual, swivel, threaded 1/4 x 20 x 1/4. These give you a rise of 1.5 inches above floor. Trying to match this spec is very possible but a little expensive (of course if the mfg made parts available it would be actually cheap. But they don't soooo).

My research found 71 manufacturers of the product that you need. The cost of getting production samples (which are free) to the USA is a minimum of $25.00! Out of sight for this project.

So, Hamar, what do you suggest??

I suggest that you go to PetSmart and purchase item #2755096 for $6.99 and replace all four casters. This will raise your shredder off the floor a bit more but since your raising all the corners it won't rock you to sleep trying to keep it level.

That's the best I could do...anyone else have a better solution?

Broken casters (wheels)

This is definitely something that you can do yourself. Remove the back of the dishwasher and the front kickplate. This will give you access to the wheels. The wheels are held in place with a U shaped clip. Remove the clip and the wheel will come out. replace with the new wheel.

This happened with my Danby DDW1805 and I fixed it myself. I used two step stools at the side of the dishwasher to raise it off of the floor.
