Hello, I might be able to help. It sounds like you need to reinstall the sound and graphic drivers for your computer. In order to find out which drivers to use you need to know the brand and model computer you have (i.e. Dell dimension 3000, HP 510, etc.). Visit the manufacturers website (i.e. Dell.com, HP.com, etc.) , click on support and downloads, enter your brand and model computer, and that you want to find the drivers. Finally, once you find the drivers page for your model, simply download and install them.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

On startup and closedown the normal sound effects do not now play.can you advise.my computer is windows xp.

Are all the sounds except your LogOn & LogOff sounds ok? If this is the fact, then all you need to do is to change the sound theme. To do this, right click on the volume tray icon on the task bar and select the "sound properties" and select "sounds". Now select "Windows Default" and click on apply and press ok. But if your sound theme is already "Windows Default", then it may be a problem of system file missing.

Hope this helps,
Regards,
