Most flat panels have a plastic cover that hides the bracket screws holding the base onto the back of the unit. Check to see if you can squeeze the plastic and make it unsnap from the back of the TV. There should be 4-6 screws holding bars of metal, likely two, that hold the base onto the TV. Some have a snap-in base, but most use screws. tom
