Hello, Their are fuses inside the consul one of them my have blown. You need a special screw driver you can get the fuses and screw driver on ebay.com. A very common failure, which seems to crop up on some of the earlier Nintendo Wii

models, is where the power supply fails for whatever reason. When
    switched on
there is no life and often, the internal fuses (or sometimes the fuse in
    the
power lead) blow. Very often, the fault lies with a very simple component on the power
    board.
The usual component is a diode, of which there are four similar ones.
    Often
though, the same diode fails each time Be very careful when working on the power board as it contains
    dangerously
high voltages even when not connected to the mains. This is because
    capacitors
can remain charged for some number of hours or days. Take all normal
    precautions
before working in this area. In addition, handle the board as little as
    possible

Check the diodes with a continuity meter. If it shorts then it has
    blown and
should be replaced with a 1 Amp diode. You should also test the two
    board fuses
for continuity as one (or both) of these can be blown by the over
    current. You
may also have to replace the main fuse in the power lead as this can go
    at the
same time. Hope this will help.

Wii doesn't have power

My wii has had the problem since the day I bought it, and what seems to work every time is to warm the console up. I don't know why it works, but it does, and it will power on. Unplug it and set it somewhere warm then plug it back in. It's worth a try, hope it helps :)

My wii console will not turn on at all, the blue light will not come on. I have checked all plugs and cables and everything is connected. We have only had this wii console not even a year yet. what could...

it could be the power suppy mine went wrong after about 18 months, try ebay there the cheapest. you can test if its the power supply if you know someone with a wii and use there power supply or know how to use a multi meter and check if you have a voltage coming out of the wii plug end. if you dont first try replacing the fuse in the wall plug. hope this helps.

Power Outage & Now Wii Won't Power Up...

When this same thing happened to me, I unplugged the Wii power supply from the wall (not just from the back of the Wii) and let it sit unplugged for about 10 minutes. When I plugged it back in, everything was fine.

Wii

(1)
Verify that the cable bar sensor is plugged into the back of the Wii console and that the sensor bar is properly aligned with the centre of your TV screen.
(2)
Check that the Wii remote is synchronized with the console using the POWER button on the remote control to turn on the Wii console. (The POWER button is the white button with the red symbol which is located in the upper left corner on the Wii remote.) If it does not work, try to synchronize the remote control, then turn the console and controls that respond correctly to commands.
(3)
Verify that the distance between the Wii remote and the TV display to be between 1 and 3 meters, that there are sources of intense light that can interfere with the proper functioning of the remote (read Guidelines game for Wii for more information ) And that the sensor bar is placed correctly (see Setting up the sensor bar). Avoid the presence of sources of infrared light as electric stoves, gas propane or kerosene, candles, fireplaces, stoves or other heat sources close to the console.

If the steps described above do not solve the problem, the sensor bar could have a problem. Read the following instructions:

On each side of the sensor bar are five infrared lights that located the position of the Wii remote. If these lights do not work, the cursor on the remote will not appear on the screen and you can not step through screens of settings. To see these lights, you must look on the LCD screen of a digital camera or a mobile phone. Verify that the sensor bar is connected and that the Wii console is turned on, and then framing the bar sensor so that it appears on LCD camera or cellphone. If you see five infrared lights on each side, the sensor bar works. Maybe you'll need to slightly adjust the position / tilt the camera or the telephone, but is rather easy to see these lights on the LCD screen
;)
