Your control cartridge needs to be replaced. If the water is turned on by pulling on the knob you need Moen service part #1225B. If the water is turned on simply by turning the knob counterclockwise you need serviic part #1222. Try to turn the water on briefly after either cartridge is out to flush any debris that might be still in the body of the valve. Get the cartridge beforehand. the come with a handy removal tool.

check other hot water taps to check hot water is flowing from the hot water system(tap on heater not turned off)
check faucet handle is put on in the right place --only 1/2 movement to the stop
check for blockage to the hot water side of the insert ( incorrectly installed )
still with problems --call a plumber

Hot water is very slow coming out spout. Cold water comes out fine with good pressure..

the anti scald is adjusted too low. its located under/behind the handle. it usually has am allen wrench head. remove the handle and adjust it all the all the way to hot that should fix it. on some models you can remove the entire thing, but on some that will cause the handle turn 360deg because in some models its also the stopping point of the handle. hope this helps

When the lever on my Vestige faucet is turned to the hot side, it chatters and stops running when the hot water reaches it.

It sounds like you have a foreign body in the hot line, turn off water both cold and hot disassemble handle assembly including springs and washers slowly turn on hot water to see if object will flush out,if not disconnect hot water supply to faucet the turn on water supply slow ly to see if object is in supply line.If that dosen't work you may have to call plumber it may be in supply stop or below it and you need a professional to handle that.

L have a moen kingsley t125 with a moen 9000 m pact the cold water handle comes out with a trickle only when you turn it on the hot water is find unit is about one year old

You have a obstruction in cold side turn off both cold and hot water to faucet then disassemble cold side(take note of how you take apart it must go back correctly) slowly open cold water stop to see if you can dislodge obstruction(use a towel over cold water handle assembly to keep from water shooting everywhere).

I cannot figure out why my hot water no longer gets hot. I unplugged my timer 3 years ago and never had a problem. Now, no hot water unless timer is on and circulating.

Best solution is to remove the circulation-system crossover located under sink and see if problem is solved.
After removing crossover piece, try hot water tap.
Another way to check if this is the problem: Turn off cold water shut-off located above water heater. No need to turn off power or gas to water heater. Now, no water should flow when you turn on hot water tap because hot is turned off.
Open hot water side of double handled faucet. If water still comes out the hot side, then crossover is the problem.

After removing Taco crossover, you can still have the problem if a single handled faucet has the same type of crossover issue.
Repeat test to see if water comes out of hot side when water to water heater is shut off.
If water still comes out of hot side, then put ear against each single handled faucet and see which one has sound of moving water. That will narrow down the suspects.

Not alot of hot water?

1st Check the temperature restricting coller behind the cover under the handle. It is used to restrict the flow of hot water to stop you from being scaulded.
2nd Those set screws will control the flow. Check to ensure both sides are open the same amount of turns. If the water pressure is good turn in the cold side.

No water coming out of my Kohler Forte R10275-4-BN shower valve

This is a pressure balancing valve that needs both cold and hot water pressure to operated. It is an anti-scald safety operation.

Good Luck, Phil
