Question about Amcor A12000E Nanomax Portable Air Conditioner
I own an Amcor portable AC unit. When We turn it on the fan blows air, but the air coming out is not cold. Near the power light there is a light that reads COMP. The COMP light is on, so I am guessing the Compressor is blown. How do you fix it/ who can fix it, and what are the costs? Should we just buy a new AC Unit?
Thank you for your time and help!
I also have the same problem. I just bought a new model and the manual says that the compressor is on.

Portables are priced to replace and not repair unless you are an HVAC tech with your own tools and supplies. There is no guarantee you could even get the imported parts. I recommend you replace the machine; make sure you check with local authorities regarding disposing of a used air conditioner that may contain refrigerant.
