You either have multiple problems, or you have a momentary glitch in the operator program.

First, attempt to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU) on the washer by unplugging the unit for AT LEAST 30 miunutes. Sometimes these error codes are erroneoous and can be corrected by resetting the washer program. If this fails to correct your problems, then you have legitimate concerns that need to be resolved before the washer will operate correctly.

"Fdl" is a door latch error code. This is an indication of either a defective door latch, defective Central Control Unit (CCU), or an interconnecting cable problem between the two. The following link explains how to troubleshoot the problem:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r4490349-fdl_error_code

"F02" is a Long Drain error. This is usually an indication of an obstruction somewhere in the drainage system, or a failed drain pump. In most cases, the drain pump reservoir needs to be cleaned out. The following link explains how:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3574284-checking_the_drain_pump_on_a_front_loade

If you check the drain pump reservoir and the problem still persists, you may have a pump with a damaged motor/impeller, or something lodged in one of the drain lines. In particular, the drain line that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the pump.

I recommend you remove the inlet hose, as well, and inspect for clogs. In is common for small garments to become lodged in this area and restrict water flow to the drain pump. Check the output drain line for obstructions as well.

It does not take much to damage these small drain pumps. The error code is generated if the drain cycle exceeds 8 minutes. So...if the impeller or motor become damaged, and the pump does not pull water at the correct volume, you may still experience the drain error. In this case, you will have to replace the pump in order to get the error to clear. The following link explains how:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3574350-replacing_the_drain_pump_in_a_front_load

Replacements parts (if required) can be purchased at any of the following websites:

searspartsdirect.com
pcappliancerepair.com
appliancepartspros.com
repairclinic.com

Prices vary between sites, so shop and compare. The first three sites listed also have helpful exploded view parts illustrations to assist you with locating and properly identifying the parts you may need.

If the door remains locked and will not open, the following link explains how you can use the manual release to get the door to open:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3576511-door_jam_on_kenmore_elite_and_whirlpool_

You may want to try using a wet/dry shop vac to pull a vacuum on the drain hose to try to pull as much of the water (if any) ot of the wash tub BEFORE opening the door. The water can become sour and may have a strong odor.

NOTE: For an explanation of all the error codes, each one of these appliances come with a technical data sheet inside.

To access, you will need to remove the lower toe panel under the door. The access screws are located under the bottom front edge of the panel. You may have to prop the two front fett of the washer up for better access ( a 2x4 works well for this). With the screws removed, the panel should drop down, then come off. If the tech sheet isn't directly behind the panel, it will be affixed to one of the interior cabinet walls.

The tech sheet lists all error code definitions, troubleshooting data, diagnostics procedures and wiring diagrams. I mention the tech sheet because you may need it to troubleshoot this error code.

Read through the information provided and let me know if you have any further questions. I hope you find this information helpful.

During the Normal washing cycle. 02 F appears. and cycle stops. Cycle hasn't finished rinse or spin.

Hi
Error F02 appears after 8mins of SUDs error. Error F02 means Long drain, means washer is taking longer time than normal to drain. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display. NOTE: After 4 minutes the SUD error will be displayed, and then 4 minutes later the F02 error code will be displayed.
? Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
? Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
? Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
? If the above does not correct the problem, replace the pump.

There are 3 small 9/32 hex head screws that hold the front panel on. Unscrew the 3 hex head screws (9/32 socket or nut driver size), now remove the front kick panel. Unscrew the white drain cap -WARNING-- lots of water will drain out when you loosen the white cap. Once all the water is out, remove and take out the filter trap.
Hope this helps... Please post back for more information

Showed F02. Doesn't spin in the spin cycle, just

"F02" is a Long Drain error code. This is an indication that you have an obstruction somewhere in the drainage system. In most cases this means there is a clog in the drain pump. If the drain system is clogged or restricted, once the error code is generated, the washer will not complete a cycle until the error is resolved. The following link explains:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r615268-f02_error_code_whirlpool_duet_kenmore

Included is a follow-on link that explains how to check the drain pump to clean. You may also have to remove the inlet hose that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the drain pump. Debris and small articles of clothing can commonly clog in this area as well causing the drain cycle to fail.

NOTE: The "SUD" error code can often occur in conjunction with the "F02" error code. This is due to air being detected in the drainage system, which can occur if the pump is not running, or if you have an obstruction BEFORE the pump. You need to remove the inlet hose from the pump to ensure it is also not blocked. Correct your drainage system fault, and the SUD error should go away.

If you have any questions about this repair, or need additional assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

NOTE: If these preliminary measures do not correct your problem, you may have to replace the drain pump. It does not take much to damage the pump impeller or motor. Since the error code is generated if the drain cycle exceeds 8 minutes, if the pump is damaged and can't pump at the required volume, the error code will continue to appear until the pump is replaced.

The pressure switch is sensing that there is still water in the unit,it sits at the top of machine under the top cover,it is round and usually red in color remove the hose/tube from it and blow through it to make sure it is clear, you can also remove the switch itself and lightly blow into it you will hear a couple of clicks put it back together and give it a shot..

Got code F02 after cleaning all drain system and replacing pump.

"F02" is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a "SUDS" error may also be generated as a secondary error. This is an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:

1. Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
2. Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
3. Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.

To check the drain pump, click on the following link for step-by-step instructions.

We get a F02 error relating to drain

F02 is the code for long drain. Your filter on your pump is probably clogged with lint and other stuff. You have to remove the bottom front panel, 3 screws. The panel will drop and come off. The filter cover is right in front. Get yourself a bunch of towels and unscrew the filter cover and twist the filter out. Clean out all the stuff and put it back in.
