Hi all. I stumbled on this site, & it seems pretty much what I'm looking for. I have a response3 TV2000 camera, but with only bare wires coming from the cam. White, red, blue, green & black. I'm assuming the red is + and the black is -. From the above post, I thought the green may ALSO (in my case) be composite video, may not be. But I'm lost on the other 2. Any help would be appreciated guys. Also, what connectors are needed, to go straight into a PC. Also, would a PC power the camera....

Thanks in advance.

    Thanks to all who helped. I know it's been some time, but I have been in Wales, now I am back in the NE. I still have the cam, but am giving it to the young mum next door to us. Do our community thing. If it's easy enough, I will install it myself. Thanks again all.

SOURCE: when I plug in the usb lead to download the pics,

Consider NOT using the USB connection.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

SOURCE: mc6184s how do u wire

Red - +7.5VDC
Black - Ground
Green - Composite Video (like a video game)
Yellow - Audio
If you are using the original harness and want to cut off the phone connector, swap the red and black wires.

How do I install the 4 prong electrical cable to the dryer?

I would attach the black wire to the black & yellow, white to white, red to blue & brown. The green wire is your ground wire and needs to be attached to the cabinet. On the connection where your white wire is located see if there is a copper strap that goes from the terminal block to the cabinet. If there is, you will need to remove that strap and attach the green wire to where the strap was attached to the cabinet. Hope this helps!

I have a general lee cb with a 4-pin standard mic. the wires in my mic cord broke at the plug. does wnyone know how to wire this type of mic back and what color wires go to the correct pin?there are 6...

Here are the Pin outs for different mics that will work with your radio. If a wire is not listed then you cut it off. It's best to keep the wires as short as possible no longer than a half inch is suggested. Normally the Cobra pin out is standard for most radios.

Stock - 1- Shield (Ground) 2- Yellow (Audio) 3- Red (Transmit) 4- White (Receive)

Astatic - (4 wire) 1- Shield 2- White 3- Red 4- Black

Astatic - (6 wire) 1- Shield & Blue 2- White 3- Red 4- Black Yellow NC

Daiwa EM-500, Cobra, CA Series - 1- Shield & Black 2- Red 3- White 4- Blue

Galaxy DC-521S - (4 wire) 1- Shield 2- Yellow 3- Red 4- Black

Galaxy CB-660EI - 1- Shield & Black 2- White 3- Red 4- Blue

Sadelta - 1- Shield 2- White 3- Brown 4- Green

Turner - 1- Shield & Red 2- White 3- Blue 4- Black Yellow NC

Which colour wire to use to hook up a trailer for a Kia Carnival 2000,trailer leads are yellow, green,black,brown,red,white and blue(no connection). just want to know which lead goes to which in the Kia?...

Hi there,

Here is a cheat sheet I compiled that you will find very helpful:

Plug Types/Application
7 Way - RV Trailers, Horse and Utility Trailers
6 Way - Horse, Stock and Utility
4 Way - Utility Trailers

Columns are Color, Function, Mark on the plug.

Seven wire Trailer plugs
:

Horse, stock or utility trailers:
White = Ground - 1
Blue = Electric Brakes - 2
Brown = Tail and clearance lights - 3
Black = Battery, aux power - 4
Yellow = Left turn/Brake - 5
Green = Right turn Brake - 6
Orange or Purple (not both) = Auxilliary or Reverse - 7

Recreational Vehicle:
White = Ground - 1
Blue = Electric Brakes - 2
Green = Tail and clearance lights - 3
Black = Battery, aux power - 4
Red = Left turn/Brake - 5
Brown = Right turn Brake - 6
Yellow = Auxilliary or Reverse - 7

Six wire trailer plugs:

Horse, stock or utility trailers:
White = Ground - GD
Yellow = Left turn/Brake -LT
Green = Right turn Brake -RT
Brown = Tail and clearance lights - TM
Red or Black (not both) = Battery, aux power - A
Blue = Electric Brakes - S

Recreational Vehicle: (color, use, plug mark)
White = Ground - GD
Yellow = Not used -
Brown = Right turn Brake - RT
Green = Tail and clearance lights -TM
Black = Battery, aux power - A
Red = Left turn/Brake - LT
Blue = Electric Brakes - S

Four wire plugs:
White = Ground
Yellow = Left turn/Brake
Green = Right turn Brake
Brown = Tail and clearance lights

Ground should be 10ga.
Others 14 ga

Best regards
Mike

I am converting a 3 prong dryer to a 4 prong plug. The wires inside the dryer are black/yellow, white and blue. The wires on the plug are white, black, red and green. I am assuming the green is the ground...

on plug white is neutral, black is power , red is power, green is ground. black/yellow and blue are power and white is always neutral ie. (white to white) black to black/yellow, blue to red. green to grounding screw on machine
