Coby mpc441 mp3 player displays "Memory full" and won't operate.

    Nothing functions. I've taken the battery out several times, replaced the SD card several times, tried to turn it off and on and the display only says "Memory full" at all times.

    I used a new SD card. I tried formatting the internal and external memory with and without the SD card. The player is completely locked up. It won't display any files when connected to the computer. It will not accept transfers, firmware, or even formatting. It will not erase files, either.

    If it is not that the sd card is full you may need it to connect to a computer and do a reinstall of firmware.

    If it is completely jammed and does not connect to a computer you will need to take it to service to have the firmware reinstalled

    Here you can download the firmware.
    If you breack the procedure while updating firmware, you can damage your mp3, then be careful.

    If your Coby is completely fried up check your guaranty and eventually contact Coby.
    If is not under guarantee find a service in your area, eventually contact factory to get directions for service in your area.

If it is on warranty, return it. Guess it has a memory problem, probably bad memory. I doubt you can solve it by any means

Your coby is not charging anymore..The battery probably needs to be replaced with a new one..Please check your connection when you charge it..There should be an icon that shows your battery is charging. If it does so that means your coby is charging but your battery cant store the energy anymore.

I have a PDF ebook that I put in the Coby but it won't show up in my mp3 player!
In order to see and read pdf's on mp3 players it must support a pdf reader. I must be put in the correct folder and the the pdf version (of the ebook) can't be newer than the pdf reader else it won't read it. Coby doesn't like pdf format as one that is automatically read by the player.

All of my file got erased on my coby mp3 610 when i preased the reset button
When you reset a device, it often clears the entire memory of the device and reverts to original settings. you can copy all of the music back on from a computer, but won't be able to retrieve it on the device.

Please make sure that the files loaded are the types for MP3 and WMA so as to be recognised in the Coby player.
I suspect the fiiles loaded from your PC does not support the type needed by the player. So reconvert and download.
