Stereo model WX-500 MDX not working after changing battery

Security lockout code will be required. You should have it in your Owners manual or you will need to go to a Dealer with your ownership proof and VIN or chassis number to get the code.

How do i unlock my car stereo its a seat ibiza 2002. battery was taken out and the car stereo has ask me for a code. it says 1000 on the stereo and thats were i put my code in

If you donta have the unlock code, need to visit your dealer and ask for this; the unlock code is unique for each vehicle, then, its impossible that someone sell or tell you this info in Internet. Good luck.

Yes changed battery now radio says loc how do you get the radio back what is the code

If it is the standard stereo installed by the car manufacturer from the factory then you should call the car manufacturer. If it is not then you need to call the stereo manufacturer. 8)

I changed my battery in my 2004 Honda Odyssey and now i need the radio code because the radio code card was lost my VIN number is 5FNRL18994B073236

there is no site or organization willing to give you a stereo code for free. Some amount of money will be charged in exchange for the radio code.

Radio unlock code can be gotten from the below link:

Also the process to follow in order to successfully unlock the stereo is stated in the link.

In addition this link claims to generate stereo unlock codes for free, you can give it a trail as it might work for you.

Good luck.

Disconnected battery on van now radio needs a code for it to work have no idea what the code is

If it is a factory stereo, you need to contact a dealer and they normally provide it for free.It sounds like a factory stereo.I see this problem a lot. It's pretty stupid of the makers to make you put in a code just because the battery disconnected.Thieves could still find it out so I have no idea if it was meant to be a deterrent or what.Good luck!If it's not a factory stereo, let me know.

I have a Kenwood kdc mp828. I disconnected my battery cable and now can not remember my security code. I need to reset the unit so I can again listen to my stereo.

I read a blog on your site about Kenwood stereo's. I used that information to unlock my stereo security code. Albiet, I did have to figure out a bit of the code needed myself. I am again able to listen to music on my stereo.
