- The UMAX site says it has stopped all support for the 1220U. And, if you link to BENQ with http://www.benq.us/support/downloads/downloads.cfm?product=92&page=downloads&dtype=D , you get their home page with no help for even looking for the term 1220U.- Lschwa301

You can download the drivers here, directly from Benq:

Although you didn't specify the operating system you're using.
If you are using Windows Vista, some people have reported success using Windows 2000 drivers on Vista.
If you are not using Vista, choose your operating system from the list, and download.
Be sure to UNPLUG the scanner from the PC before installing the software. ONLY plug it in once the on-screen instructions tell you do so.
