Question about Acer Aspire 5536-5224 Notebook
Used the laptop 12/5/2010 about 3:30pm (browsing the Internet).
Shut off for about two hours.
Return and booted.
I discovered that the lighting for the screen isn’t what should be.
Although the screen was dark I used my pass word and my account opened up on the screen but no lighting to reflect it.
I use a very bright light and was able to see my programs etc on through the dark screen but no lighting.
I used fn > but nothing happens.
I used the external monitor and I saw all my programs clearly.
I need a solution to this problem please.
Nothing will works.
Replace the backlight inverter of your screen.
There is no way you can do it yourself if you don't have the knowledge and the right tools for opening the backcover of your laptop..It is way too risky to do that not to mention the availability of parts (with same value) that you will be replacing.
My suggestion is to let your laptop handle by a certified technician..if there is still warranty good for you..

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
