I am using 123scan and i am trying to skip the leading zero and to read the rest. I have set it up to ''remove leading 0'' and to ''send remaining'' but it doesn't seem to work. We will either get everything including the 0 or nothing at all. I am using the ls4208

SOURCE: I am trying to use 123scan to program a symbol

You can use the Move To command and enter DAQ into the String field. Skip ahead three characters to get past the DAQ then Send Next 9 characters.

Dryer spins but no heat

This could be the effect of a number of problems. Here's a list of things to check and details on how to do it.
  • Fuse could be bad -- Check the fuse for a break inside. If it's bad, replace it with an identical fuse.
  • Temperature switch could be bad -- Use VOM to check the switch. Set VOM to RX1, remove leads and touch the probes to the switch's terminals. The reading should be zero or infinity. Turn the switch, and the reading should change from zero to infinity or infinity to zero. If not, the switch is bad.
  • Thermostat could be bad -- Set the VOM to RX1, take a lead off one of the two outside terminals and press the probes to the two outside terminals. There should be a reading of zero. If not, it's bad.
  • Heating coils may be bad -- Set the VOM to RX1 and remove the leads from the coil. Press the probes to the terminals. If the reading is zero, the coil is bad.
  • Timer could be bad -- Disconnect the leads from the motor. Set the VOM to RX100. Clip the probes onto the leads. If the reading is infinity, the timer motor is bad.

Hello, if all your barcodes have the same structure, it will an easy task. You would need to scan following barcodes from ADF chapter in the Product Reference Guide located at http://support.symbol.com/support/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=5880807apdf
Create New Rule Send Characters Up To Space Character in Alfanumeric Section Skip Ahead 1 Send All That Remains Save Rule
This will by all scanned barcodes send all characters up to the space character, skip the space and send the rest of data.

Is it possible to send two suffix in symbol ls2208

Yes it is possible.

You will need to create the following adf rule which you can do using 123scan.

the barcodes generated will be the following:

Begin new rule.
Send all that remains
Send Extended key <Enter>
Send extended key <Enter>
Save Rule.

If you can't generate them, I can send you a pdf document with them already created.

Ean 13 problem

you are probably reading to a inteligent software package like Excell, which sees the inputted data as a number (so ignores leading zeros) you need to specify to the sytem that the incoming numbers are TEXT not numbers.

123Scan File

P370 WILL NOT connect with your terminal or base, so forget about this intent and go for the goal which is loading your programming to your scanner. According to Motorola the work around is simple and faster than trying to resolve this.
Start with Reseting the scanner completly back to Defaults.
In the 123Scan, PRINT Barcodes and the rules ADF Rules of your programming.
Start scanning from
"Parameter Settings" until the last page barcode "Reset Scanner".
That is it. Problem solved.
You will need to do this for every new programming Rule.
