I have a poulan weed eater edger. It will start and run but when I move the choke it stalls. I want to clean the air filter but I don't know where it is.

The air cleaner is on top with a triangle plastic cover over it,has two screws to hold it on.

I am not familar with all models of all things but you will find the air filter in the close area of the carburator intake. The filter cleans the cumbustion air prior to entering the carb. Good luck...Lee

I have a 350 poulan pro ordered a carb. installed new filter line and primer bulk. It will start and run as long as I have the choke on. As soon as I move the lever for the choke I boggs down. Gan anyone...

Sounds like to me that you have a problem with the high speed circuit of the carb...could be some trash in the jet or the jet may be out of adjustment...try adjusting the jet and try to go to full throttle after your adjustment

Starts right up on choke. then run inrun position for a minute and have to go back to choke to keep it running ,then it runs fine for a couple of minutes and have to go back to choke and start all over...

Try cleaning or replacing the air filter.

When you are in choke, it is not using very much air, it is running a very rich mixture. When you switch it to run, then it demands more air and it sounds like its being starved.

Weedeater will not run with choke open.

check your air filter,, and try if do the same thing you have to clean carb. out,, if you dont how just ask me,, thanks hope this help you

Weed eater starts, runs 5 min. then cuts off

The gas cap may be clogged.

The next time you run the trimmer and it starts to die, loosen the gas cap. If it starts running again, then you know that it's a clogged gas cap.

You may also check the air breather, it may be dirty as well.
