You can get under water patch kits for this. They will have instructions with it. All you do is cut a patch to fit the aera then apply glue to the patch and fold in half with the glue side in. Then go down to the spot and press against the hola as you spread the patch back out. press the edges down and follow the directions as far as holding in place and how long to let it cure before you use the pool. Good luck.

Patch it from the inside. Get the special pool repair kit that allows under water patching. The kit I am talking about is superior to all others, expect to pay $12.00 . I use this kind of kit on my water bed though not from the inside.

SOURCE: Water loss in pool, but no hole in liner

The only problem is that ther is a leak in the liner. Generally at the bottom where a rock or debris has made a small hole. They can be patched but the pool will need to be drained. Call your local pool service company.

The most obvious thing besides not having salt in the pool has no stabilizer in it. This is a chemical that has an affinity for chlorine ions and if it is not there the chlorine can be disipated in a few hours when the sun hits it. Another name for it is Cyanuric Acid. It can be purchased in granular form at many pool supply stores or in a liquid form at Leslies. In order to get your pool blue you need to have the chemistry checked at a pool store or with a test kit (either liquid or strips). Don't buy everything a pool supply tells you to buy but start out with vinyl safe shock, stabilizer and salt. The pool store should be able to help you determine the dose. The following is what I would do:
1. Make sure salt is at the recommended concentration.
2. Shock the pool to recommended dose to start killing the algae.
3. Place the recomended dose of stabilizer in the pool.
4. Make sure pump and filter are working properly.
5. Check the pool chemistry on a daily basis until it is ready for swimming.
6. Check the chemistry on a weekly basis and clean the pool and equipment according to the pool instructions.

Smile, you are a pool manager.

Well there are two solutions.
1st: fill the pool with water. (yes it will be leaking)
Get a small bowl and put some dish soap in it.
Next tape a sponge or a rag (or something you can apply the soap with) and scrub down the sides with the soap. Because the soap reacts with water and releases oxygen (or Co2, I'm not sure) when it does, it will bubble up and reveal where the leak is.
I think that's the most reliable way. Another way is only reliable if the leak is large. You can make everyone get out of the pool and listen very carefully at each side. If the leak is large enough you'll hear a sizzling.
I think that the first method would be more efficient, but the second sounds like it might do the job as well and would be easier.
To fix the hole, I believe that you'll have to fix it with a patch kit. The link below lists a few different options. It's essential to have a patch kit when you have a vinyl above ground pool because it's incredibly easy to get a hole in the side. I'd suggest buying a quality patch kit to insure that the patch lasts. You don't wanna waste the 120+ dollars on annoying recurring holes in the side.

Goodday i have a intex pool notice water missing over a course of a week think it is a very small hole as big as a pin how can i find the hole please help

If the hole is in the bottom of the pool it will be extremely difficult to find. I assume you have looked around all the sides for wet spots already. How much water are you losing? Are you sure it is the pool leaking and not the pump or filter? Look everywhere!

Go to the pool supply place and get a underwater patch and repair kit. Read the instructions which will basically tell you to cut a patch from the supply roll, put on the glue and the fold it in half, get in the pool and apply the patch to the hole.

Where does the hoses go and in what order do they go to join they to the intex 8ft pool

The two hoses are interchangeable...one to each hole, it doesn't matter which. Make sure you do this before the water level reaches the holes, but don't start the pump until after the water clears the intake hole.
