Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. From the description you have provided it seems that the ballast has gone bad as it is the power source for the lamp and required to be replaced. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

I changed the lamp in my sp7210 the new lamp is working fine but.

just to be sure you have the correct timer reset procedure: power the projector up, press and hold down the 2 brightness buttons for at least 10 seconds. if that doesn't work, you'll need to upgrade the firmware. go to the infocus website.

My tv turns its self off after about 30 seconds and all the red lights come on, any ideas?

This may be an issue with the lamp needing replacement or a fan not working or some other issue with the power up sequence not getting the right codes to power on. You can try a new lamp and reset the timer. but most likely I would have a repair service look at it.

Mitsubishi HC 900 DLP Projection Lamp Shutdown.

Honestly I would try entering the 'Lamp timer reset' code again. Or the button sequence given to reset the lamp timer.
An issue that may be happening is that something may have happened to the lamp ballast power supply also.
Just a thought.

Purchased a new lamp, tv worked fine. about 10 days later it stopped working and the lamp light is flashing again.

Did you reset the lamp timer? If you dont reset the timer the TV thinks the old lamp is still in use.

Lamp light just blinks yellow after lamp replacement, tv does not turn on

I will recommend to take the lamp out and slide in again, it might be that your TV havent detect that there is a new lamp. By doing this you will reset the lamp timer. If dont work search in your manual how to reset the lamp timer.

Epson 7300

Hi there

The Epson Powerlite 7300's lamp has got a chip on the side of the lamp's bracket that resets the lamp timer automatically when a new lamp is inserted. And it only does it once - first time the unit is switched on after replacing with a new lamp.

The fuse on this chip blows and causes the lamp timer to be reset. Unfortunatelly this is the only way to reset the lamp timer on this model. There is no manual way.

So to cutt to the chase , you will have to buy the original lamp and replace it before it will reset.
