Question about Kyocera Mita KM-2550 All-In-One Laser Printer
Hi there, I've got a Kyocera KM2560 or rather two of them now with a dead control panel. I have tried firmware and swopping the panels(complete with LCD, backight driver etc). After the swop I now have two dead panels(almost as if the mainboard blew the panel board). I have been intouch with the manufacturer directly and it looks as if I now need to replace the mainboard. Just wondering if anyone has had the same trouble or could offer some advice. I have attempted changing the USB route between the panel and mainboard. I have tried newer and older versions of firmware(both CF and USB).
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The Developer unit needs to be replaced. It gives background over entire page. If the printer is under 3 years old and is original unit (developer unit) you can get a new one free from Kyocera. Very good warr. from them. Phone number is 1 800438 6482 prompt 2 ; # for the part DV-62. Have your serial # and a status page with you. I work on Kyocera FS printers. Good luck. Russ

As for blocked, are you saying that the buttons wont acess the screen or is the display messed up. If it is locked it can be unlocked. Can you print out anything from it? Let me know, we work on the FS printers all the time. Russ

SOURCE: Fixed IP adress problem
You can change it but it looks tricky, when scroll for the ip address hit go then use and up and down buttom to change it, you have to change the numbers too by using up and down buttoms after you finish, hit ok.
