Same here. I have to nearly scream to use voice commands or get people to hear me. Is it the device or is there a way to correct this problem?

Callers complain I can't be heard when using H700 with a Samsung A900. I've tried reversing volume buttons but doesn't seem to help.

Same problem....I had a similar problem with the H850...which when i returned it the only model the store had at the time was the h700. This is so frustrating!

Follow the link provided by Jason B in Solution two.... just did it at my desk in under a minute. It really works. Seems tricky but really not, I did it with nothing but a push pin sitting at my desk. Once I removed thr small black dot I cleaned the mic and tested... MUCH louder, although maybe a bit more "tinny" sounding than when I first bought it.

Dissassembled real quick and slipped a tiny scrap of unltra plus Puffs Plus tissue over the Mic where the black foam dot was. Quality got much better again.

Simple fix!

Ok here is the answer. There H700 have a small foam windscreen inside over the microphone that over time block the sound. The answer is to carefully open the unit and remove the obstruction and clean residue from the microphone and it will work like new. here is a link to pictures and instructions. http://www.geocities.com/jconkwright/H700fix.html

This solution is great (same as posted by Jason B). Fixed my muffled mic problem. The **** apparently gets gooey and plugs the mic holes. Tip: When you pry the cover from the hinge, a crack will be exposed between the cover and the boom near the hinge. Work a small screwdriver along that crack, carefully widening it. The cover comes off quite easily.

Hearing from Motorola H700

good morning!! ive been thru this before, try tapping your phone volume while your talking to your party, it shold be seen on your phone screen as earpiece volume than turn it up and when you have the volume where you want it dont forget to tap the set on your phone, another prob i had was some times there is a small protective plastic film on the ear holes on the tooth and one on the mike sometimes, i could hear my party but they couldnt hear me until i discovered that lil peice of plastic. remember your key codes are either 0000 or 1234. good luck m.m.

Problem with Motorola H700 Bluetooth

rhondarenee: If you're using a Motorola RAZR V3, the problem is the cell phone. Also check the volume buttons on H700 that sometimes it goes the volume all the way down. It is a common unnoticed situation. SithPitt
