Question about Samsung AS18A6RB Air Conditioner
My house is having old wattmeter of 10 amp capacity. Wiring in the house is new (From electric pole). Presently I'm having water motor of 1 hp, referigerator, TV, washing machime & 2 air coolers load in the house. Can I install 1.5 T split samsung AC (2 star) under present circumstances without changing the electric meter. The electric meter should not catch fire since it is 10 Amp capacity. Thanks!

The factor that you have not included here is the distance from the power panel to the unit...if it is too far then you need to up gauge the wire to compensate for that... that could be why the electrician wanted to go to the 720 ga. wire.

I see right now you are talking metric calculations so I am pointing you Click Here=> Wire Size Calculator I am not sure unless I did the conversion in metric. It is possible he is correct and trying to prevent harm or a fire. In the end of course the decision is yours. Here you can use you language and Math to come up with answers. With electricity always use the correct wire for amperage and distance. Please rate my solution after I have helped you resolve the problem and communicate with me. I am offering my help to you free. SOURCE: I have purchased one Samsung
You have a LEAK from installation that must be found & repaired before any more GAS is added to the system. Then it will normaly need a little gas every 3 years.
