Need instruction manual for Adventure Bound Bike

Sounds like you bought a Schwinn Spirit Bike Trailer. Here is the link to the manual for that model. They all basically attach the same from Schwinn so should be enough for you.

How it mounts to your particular bicycle is difficult to instruct without knowing which brand/ model of bicycle you have. Different bicycles have different shapes in the back and some are easier to mount a trailer to than others. If you can't figure out how to mount to your bicycle after reading the instructions, then write me back and I will try to explain it too you. This is a case where pictures are worth a thousand words.

You can go to www.instep.net. Click the customer service tab at the top and then the product manuals one on the left. Then choose the catagory you want. If your trailer is not a current model, that's okay because they still list the manuals for discontinued models also.

There will be bolts in a clamp that hold it on to the seatpost of the adult's bike. Loosen or remove these bolts to take it off and reinstall it on the new bike using the same step in reverse.

what part broke that you need attachment replacement, in most cases, if has to deal with the towing part, its cheaper to take it to local welding shop and would cost hardly nothing to fix.

If you have a quick release, you'll need to remove the release out of the wheel and then put it through the anchor and attach release back on.. If you have a nut, undo the nut, put the anchor on and then put the nut back on. Insert the end of the trailer into the large hole of the anchor and fasten the pin.. then attach the safety cable by wrapping it around the frame of the bike...

Call Instep 800-242-6110 select option for replacement parts. They were able to replace a part on my bike trailer that is 7 years old. Hopefully they will be able to help you.
