First check whether your notebook has an in-built Bluetooth module or not. To do this, you can follow the steps below: 1. Click Start/Pearl button and type ?Device Manager? in search field. 2. Double click on ?Device Manager? from the results listed. 3. Click on arrow beside Bluetooth Radios. Check whether HP Integrated Modules with Bluetooth 2.1 Wireless Technology is listed under Bluetooth Radios. If listed, then your notebook has an in-built Bluetooth module. You can refer the following documents to Set Up Bluetooth Connections on your notebook: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3768347&lang=en&docname=c01948661 http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3768347&lang=en&docname=c01065493 Understanding Bluetooth Wireless Technology: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01060335&tmp_task=solveCategory&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3768347&lang=en Fixing Bluetooth Problems: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01590950&tmp_task=solveCategory&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3768347&lang=en

I don't think your computer has bluetooth, in which case you'll need to use the usb cable. I don't what type of phone you have but your phone should have come with a software. This software should have a feature allowing you to connect your pc to the internet via your phone. Simply change the software internet settings to match the web settings on your phone.... if necessary. There is, however, a more complicated method, if the software doesn't work, then i'll try to explain that method.

Tip

Bluetooth Driver Installer

Often it happens that the device having Bluetooth doesn’t get detected by computer due to missing drivers and if you don’t have software cd which comes along with the device or gadget then it won’t be easy to get Bluetooth drivers. In such cases Bluetooth Driver Installer may come handy this utility will try to install generic Microsoft drivers for your Bluetooth hardware. Before making any changes to system do make sure to create system restore point.

Download Bluetooth Driver Installer.

Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron 531 built-in webcam that don't work. Can you tell me what i need to do to fix this?

Step 1: First connect the bluetooth device to USB port on your computer and check that it is detecting on your computer or not.

Step 2: Now insert the bluetooth software driver CD to your system that will auto start after few seconds then follow instruction to finish bluetooth software installation.

Step 3: Now go to 'start -> Devices and Printers' and click 'Add a device' from top of the window.

Step 4: Now your Windows 7 system will search the bluetooth device which connected to your system.

Step 5: Click the bluetooth device you want to install from the list and then click the 'Next' button and wait for windows to configure the bluetooth device. If prompted to enter a passcode, enter the default code listed in the bluetooth device manual. In many cases, the default passcode will be '0000'.

Now the bluetooth device has successfully installed and ready to use.

Note: If you bluetooth device was not listed in the search results from Step 4, make the device discoverable. Access your Bluetooth-enabled device's settings page, and turn on the device's 'Listen' or 'Discoverable' function to allow you computer to find it.

Get Dell technical assistance at http://www.vtechsquad.com/dell-support/ , if the same problem is still occurring.

I have an Acer Aspire 5251 and want to no if i can down load Bluetooth on it

Some Acer Aspire 5251 has Bluetooth hardware, some don't. If you don't have the hardware part of it, the software part of it will not do you any good. Chances are though, however, that you do not have the Bluetooth hardware in it.

You can get a USB Bluetooth dongle for *very* cheap, here is a link to one: Link

Hope this helped!

How to activate Dell vostro bluetooth

1) Install the bluetooth driver provided for your system. It will ask you to activate bluetooth by pressing fn+f2 key (this won’t work).
2) You manually have to install the software for the driver.
Note: some of you may have already installed the drivers but just cannot start the connection. So there is a problem in the software and not the driver.
For installation of the software follow these steps.
3) Go to your driver installation directory (ex. C:\dell\drivers) then you find which driver you installed for your bluetooth.
4) Then you find your system you are running (a 32 bit or a 64 bit) it will written as win32 or win64.
5) Then you find the installation file. Then install the application and it will be all ready once again.
P.s. don’t forget to turn your Bluetooth adapter on after you install the software.
