Hello! Does sound comes out of TV speakers? Or you have "home theater" hooked up to? In first occasion: TV turns on, stays on, display blinks once, then nothing? Inverter is at fault. Second occasion: TV turns on, stays on, display glows dark, sound OK, no picture: T-con board at fault. Third occasion: TV turns on, shuts off, sound is coming through "home theater"-OK. Power supply or inverter, or T-con are at fault. TV need major diagnostics and repair in every case. Let me know if you can handle that. Will guide you through the process. Thanks, Alex.
Most likely this set has an "integrated" inverter, as most samsungs do--and this DOES sound like an inverter problem. Make SURE thought, there are no more bad "10 volt" caps on the power supply...ALL of them need to be replaced no matter HOW they look.
