Question about Coleman Propane Grill Stove 9921-700
As propane is used it can create frost on the tank or just cause the tank to feel cold. this is normal. this will be worse when the tank is almost empty.

This is normal. As gases expand, they get cooler, and the faster they expand, the greater the cooling effect. If you run the stove with all burners going full blast, you'll get the greatest chilling effect, and under certain conditions frost may even form on the cylinder and regulator, such as on a cold, damp morning.
Mechanical refrigeration - your home refrigerator and the air conditioner in your car - take advantage of this effect.

SOURCE: Coleman propane stove problem
john about every coleman stove ive ever had is like that. the purpose of it is to keep the burner closest to fuel tank cooler to avoid heating up fuel tank.cook on one warm on the other hope this helps you out

Check to see if Coleman has an attachment to replace the regulator, so that you can use a five gallon cylinder with your stove and your own regulator.

Had same problem. Coleman tech support said, " clean with pipe cleaners". No directions....I would think they would provide a step by step protocol. So, I chose to take the knobs off and use the pipe cleaner where I could. I was able to take one of the two burner control knobs apart. After sticking the clean in every nook I could find, I put back together, and the flame on that burner is back to normal,
Good Luck--Daryl in Burnsville, MN
