Power Setting how do I set the power to a "medium" setting?

For the SMC1441CB, after setting the cook time, press the power level button and then the appropriate digits for the percentage of full power to use. For full power, press power level then 1 and then 0. For 50% power, press power level then press 5.

For the SMC0710BB, after setting the cook time, press the Power button until you see the desired power level displayed on the LCD screen. Press Power once to get 100% power. Press Power 6 times to get 50% power.

For the R-659YW, you set the power before setting the cooking time. You press the Power button several times to get to the desired power level. Pressing Power 7 times will have the microwave cook with 40% of its full power level.

put a cup of water in the cavity and set for 1 minute, after which time you can feel the temperature. Switch to the other power setting and repeat with a fresh cup of water. This will either be hotter than the first or much cooler. Most microwaves use 100% power for full and 30% power for defrost, with 50% usually being lower or medium power. Straight-forward physics. The more power the hotter the water becomes. Hope that helps.

Most microwaves run high at default, if roast and reheat are given that is your high setting, take one cup of water and run for 1 minute in each setting, the water that is the hottest is the high setting.

Check your power setting. If it has been set lower, it will take longer to cook. Normally, the max power setting is used unless a recipe calls for a lower setting. Normally, the setting is at 10.

After a long search and reading I finally got it. To adjust power level follow these instructions:

1. Set timer for amount of minutes you want.
2. Hit "power" button"
3. Change the power from 100% to another percentage by hitting numbers 1-9
4. Press Start
