Is the AC unit running outdoors? if not , check breakers , and in the electrical disconnect mounted on the wall or unit, there are time delay fuses that can go n
bad. IIf fine with electricity, remove the A/C panel to elec components and depress the contactor to make compressor and fan run, if it does the low voltage(24 volts) isnt making it on yellow and common wire of 24 volt control circuit.

Flashing snowflake on ac no idea name of thermostat

Usually a flashing snowflake means you are in a time delay for cooling. If the snowflake becomes solid, cooling should start. If it never stops flashing, possibly it's bad. Turn power off to air handler, remove stat and put red green and yellow together and turn power back on. If indoor AND outdoor work and cooling begins the tstat is definitely bad.

What does the snowflake mean on a Honeywell thermostat in cooling mode. Also had the problem in the heating mode.

The snowflake means it's cooling. If the outdoor unit is not running then the problem is likely outside.

Flashing snowflake

The flashing snowflake means it is in the cooling mode, but is waiting for itself to 'time out' after a call for cooling. It should be about a 5 minute delay then should come on automatically. At that poing, the flashing snowflake becomes steady.

Try it one more time and set the timer on your smart-phone to ten minutes before you touch it again. If that time elapses and no cooling and it is still flashing there's possibly a problem in the thermostat that will necissitate replacement.

Why car isn't blowing cool air except while driving fast?

Are you saying the air coming out of the vents is not cold unless you are moving ? Or there is no air unless you are moving ?
And are you sure the radiator fan is running with the ac on ? Can you feel air being pulled thru the condenser ? What are the gauge readings with the ac on and the engine at idle ?

HAIER CPN11XCJ new, doesn't blow cold

There are three settings. If you have it on FAN, it won't blow cold. The raindrop picture is for dehumidifying, and the snowflake picture is the setting for COLD. If you shut the unit off and on too quickly, it takes a minute or two to cycle back to cool.
* Make sure the 'snowflake' setting/picture is selected...

2004 camry a/c

You have a faulty a/c snowflake switch or wiring broken that's why no cold air is coming in. This will not let the a/c compressor engage to give you that cold air you wanted. Your problem to be specific is from the fuse in which you said is good and through that a/c snowflake switch.
