1. first you have to reseat the new ink
2. print a nozzle check pattern so that you can determine on which color is missing and don't have a perfect pattern
3. do head cleaning you can do this on the maintence screen of your printer or on the maintence/utility page on the printing preferences of the driver on your pc. do nozzle check after each head cleaning to determine improvement. Do this up o 3x if there is no improvement, ink maybe defective replace the ink if your still have same issue your printer is having hardware issue
hope this will help you

Goto printer properties and under the utility tab, print the nozzle check print out to see which color is missing.. if your picture is only in Cyan color, most probably your Yellow and Megenta is clogged.. try doing the print head cleaning and see if there is any improvement to your print out.

How do i change ink?

If iam not wrong you want to replace the Ink Cartridge. Please follow the below mentioned instruction.

Replacing the print cartridges
  1. Turn on the HP Officejet, and lift open the print-carriage access door. The print carriage will move into the access area. Figure 1: Opening the print-carriage access doorc00034766.jpg
  2. After the carriage stops moving, push down on the top of the print cartridge to release it, and then pull it toward you out of the slot. Figure 2: Removing the print cartridgec00034767.jpg NOTE: It is normal to see ink buildup in the print cartridge slots.
  3. Remove the new print cartridge from the packaging and gently remove the plastic tape by using the pink pull tab. CAUTION: Do not touch the copper contacts or ink nozzles. Install the cartridge immediately upon removing the tape to prevent ink from drying in the nozzles. Figure 3: Removing the plastic tapec00034768.jpg
  4. Push the new print cartridge into the appropriate slot at a slight angle, until it clicks into place. CAUTION: Do not attempt to push the cartridge straight into the slot. It must slide in at a slight angle. Figure 4: Inserting the print cartridgec00034769.jpg
  5. Close the print-carriage access door.
Back to top Aligning the print cartridges The HP Officejet will prompt you to align the print cartridges every time you install a new print cartridge to assure high-quality output.
  1. When the message displays, press OK . The HP Officejet will print an alignment page.
  2. Place the alignment page face down on the left front corner of the glass with the top of the page facing the left side.
  3. Press OK . The HP Officejet will align the print cartridges and display Alignment Complete .

Shrey

Canon i960 printer won't print in blue

Your problem is the print head. You can buy one from Canon for about $95, or find them new from dealers on Ebay for $60 to $70. For a less expensive fix, try to remove the print head and clean it. (You don't need any tools, just remove the ink tanks and pull the print head forward and out. Over time, the receivers tend to get dry & crusted ink on them. Note that the inks used are fast drying inks to keep your pictures, etc. from smudging after you print them. Try not to use solvent. I use q-tips and hot water, then dry using another q-tip. If this does not work, there are commercial cleaning kits available for about $10. Short of that, your choice is to replace the print head or the printer itself. My i960 prints such good quality color prints and normal color printing, that I would fix it rather than replace the printer. I hope the easy cleaning does it for you!
