Hello, my dishwasher is not getting the dishes clean. They are getting wet, but not clean, and the soap is not getting rinsed out of the dispenser.

It sounds like we are having trouble pumping the water around. I can walk you through things to check on that will help. In order to assist you best, I need to know the model number from the tag that is just inside the door.

Thanks

Is anything else in the dishwasher wet or has it all dried properly? Is all the soap gone when you check? If both of these are true, then it may not be an issue -- your soap dispenser gets rinsed to get the soap out and onto your dishes.

Model GSD2100R00BB - the soap dispenser opens and the arm extends but the dishes do not get clean, just wet and does not leave soap residue on the dishes.

Soap dispenser problem?

Check the water supply. Start cycle then open the door after it fills and check water level and spray action. If everything is soaking wet, there is probablyl a pizza pan blocking the soap tray.

Dishwasher soap dispenser does not release(sometimes partially)and as a result dishes are not cleaning

Hi,

the solenoide which pops open the soap lid may be faulty.

Better to poar your dishwashing powder or tablet in the bottom of the dishwasher tray until you get the machine repaired. You may want to do a prewash rinse first, then stop the machine and add your soap.

Make sure not to use too much soap. Just the normal amount as you would use in the soap dispenser.

There is a solenoid which pops open the soap lid after the initial rinse.

If the solenoid or soap lid latch is faulty, you will need to replace it. In the interim just poar your soap in the bottom of the dishwasher tray before cycle starts.

Only use a little amount as per normal. Dishwashing tablets are best as it is a measured amount and has the rinse aid built in.

Good luck.

If you have a water softener, you should use about half the recommended amount of soap. Never use a wet or paste detergent. As mentioned before, this unit should be under warranty.
