I cannot get the cover stitch to work. It is not making the connection of the top threads and the bottom one.

I have the upper looper threaded and A & E Needles and have them set on 6, 7, and 3.

What am I doing wrong?

Check your threading, both top and bottom, sounds like you have threaded wrong.

How do you sew with three needles on huskylock 936. I can't seem to find a third spot for a needle.

A 936 has 5 needle positions. C & D are in the back position and AB&E are in the front position. Check your user manual for diagram. you can view, print, or download the manual from the viking website - http://www.manuals.husqvarnaviking.com

How to fix a broken Needle clamp on viking 936

I don't know of a way to repair the needle clamp. It will more than likely have to be replaced. The local authorized husqvarna viking dealer should be able to service the machine. You can find the nearest dealer from husqvarna viking website - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/us

I cannot get the needles to stay in my Huskvarna Huskylock 936 serger. How can I get them to stay in?

I would say it is 2 things, first you don't have the screws loosened enough to get the needles up and in far enough, then make sure you have tightened them up enough, this should solve your problem. Also, the flat of the needle goes toward the back of the machine.

Huskylock 936 is making an irritating chatter noise. Stitches are fine but moving by hand the wheel seems stiff. Got from dealer used and long drive away like this and not sure if it is normal. Something...

Sounds like maybe its to do with the loopers hitting in the bottom,go to the manual and make sure that you have not moved the coverstitch lever..also, do you have the right bottom plate on for the stich your trying to do?

Huskylock 936 error code

This will also occur if the "needles" and "loopers" lock up as though threads are tangled and binding the machine. If needles and loopers move freely when manually turning the handwheel counter clockwise, you probably need to take it to an authorized husqvarna viking dealer for service. You can locate a dealer near you by visiting the husqvarna viking website and clicking on the Dealer link on the left-hand side of the page - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com

Good luck.

If it hasn't been lubed in a while, you can do that and it might make things better.

If you have already lubed it you should probably get it serviced.

My huskylock 936 is binding up.

I've never seen one that couldn't be fixed. It is just a matter of finding the right technician to work on it. Binding in this machine is often in the upper shaft, either the bushings or in the linkage to the needle bar. If this is where your problem is you probably shouldn't try to do it yourself.

My Husqvarna 936 Serger is giving me a "overloaded" message on the screen. I am serging the edge of a sheet. Please advise.

This happened the first time I used a 936. I had borrowed it from a friend. Fortunately she was with me. the dealer found it needed to be oiled in places amateurs should not go. That was all it took. Oiling all the moveable parts.
