My ipod wont stay charged

This may not be the answer you are looking for but your I pod might not be fully charged, meaning that you are not plugging it in the computer/docking system long enough.( it takes much longer than 15 minutes to charge the battery. So you might want to plug it in/dock it over night) Or you may be playing a game that uses a lot of MB/GB so it kills the battery. And make sure that you press the play/pause button down for at least five seconds before switching the little switch at the top of your I pod. If you don't press the play/pause button for five seconds and just switch the switch at the top a little lock will appear on the left corner meaning you need to hold the play/pause button down for five seconds then the i pod screen goes black at that time flick the switch at the top off. -hope it helps owner of i pod nano and I pod touch.

No display light!!

Your backlight has most likely been shut off. Try going into your settings and find the back light and change it to stay on for a few seconds. If you cannot see the screen at all. try reseting it by holding down both the menu and center button until you see an apple appear on the screan

Ipod nano screen stays black

If your screen is black it may be frozen. If so, hold the menu button and the center button below it at the same time. If, this still doesnt work try connecting your iPod to a computer then disconnecting it. Also make sure the battery is charged.

Please rate this solution.

Hi!

You can try to update Itunes and Ipod software first and then reset Ipod by preesing down on the center button together with the play button to perform a soft reset.

Have you charge it? Or try unlock the keypad using the slide switch, then press the middle button.

8 GB Ipod Nano went dead and now won't charge

does it work on the charger? if not, then contact apple or your dealer for more assistance or repairs.

If it works on the charger, plays music and so on, your battery is probably dead and you need a new one.

Ipod nano green Help!!!

Hello,

Try going to repair your iPod at apple.
I don't think they will accept it because it is a old version.
You can try. Or maybe your iPod hated you and wanted to die at the next day the warranty expires. (little joke there haha ^_^)

Hope this helps!
