Question about Xerox Phaser 7300DN Laser Printer
I printed the diagnostics page. It prints common problems, and points to a possible solution, and it prints a cyan, magenta, yellow and grey sheet. The cyan sheet darkens towards the bottom in an almost perfect gradation. I have replaced the cyan toner and imaging unit. The problem still exists, and seems very consistent in the gradation of cyan color. No other colors are effected. I am at a loss regarding what to try next... Any ideas?
Sounds like a bad cyan developer housing. Or that somehow the housing has come out of its mounting, but I cant think how that would happen. There are some rails in the machine that may have also come loose.
You have to remove the IBT ( transfer) assembly to look into that.
